I asked her. Her answer is that Natsuhi-nee-san seemed so gloomy she thought it'd be helping her to send her off safely to the hotel. And she's so sorry that she's gotten rid of our 'friend' now.

If she weren't nine-years old, no one would put up with that and she'd have the entire group demanding answers. Since she's a child, she's going to get away with it.
